With over 30 years of experience in the global mining sector, Dr. Pan has held senior technical and managerial roles at international industry leaders such as Anglo American and Gold Fields. His expertise spans mineral exploration, resource modeling, mining design, production management, and asset restructuring. Leveraging his global vision and cross-border capabilities, he possesses a profound understanding of global mining trends and corporate operational logic.

At Hanking Group, Dr. Pan has served as Mining Division President, Group President, and President/CEO and Chairman of China Hanking Holdings, directing the Group’s overall strategy and operations. He has built a professional and international core team, spearheaded major global mining acquisitions, and successfully facilitated the Hong Kong IPO of his affiliated company’s mining assets. Furthermore, he has driven the Group’s digital transformation and AI integration, positioning it as a highly competitive, intelligent, and international enterprise.

Dr. Pan holds a Ph.D. in Mining and Mineral Economics from the University of Arizona, alongside bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Peking University. A distinguished scholar, he was the first Chinese recipient of the IAMG President’s Award. His monograph, Information Synthesis in Mineral Exploration, was published by Oxford University Press, and he has authored over 100 papers in authoritative international journals.
